Businesses in several Akron neighborhoods to receive facade improvement Great Streets grants

For the second year in a row, Akron businesses in designated districts will improve their exterior facades through grants from Akron’s Great Streets initiative.
Great Streets will award a total of $387,000 in matching grants of up to $30,000 to 18 business owners for renovations, the city said in a press release.
